Stefan Goebel
Stefan Goebel is the founder of GCG and a technical consultant and business leader with extensive expertise in advanced engineering and technology implementation. Based in the U.S. since 2015, Stefan relocated from Cologne, Germany, to Boston to establish the North American branch of a German industrial group. He draws from more than 15 years of international business leadership and industry experience across Europe and North America.
Stefan brings a powerful blend of precision engineering and strategic market expansion. His earlier career in the automotive and automation industries with Porsche and Ford in Germany provided a strong foundation in Lean processes, precision engineering, and technology-driven innovation. He built on this foundation with over a decade of advanced technical consulting, specializing in complex systems analysis, performance modeling, and technical validation.
With a dual background in engineering and market expansion strategy, Stefan specializes in introducing innovative European technologies to the U.S. market. He supports their successful adoption through technical validation, local compliance expertise, and a robust network of industry partners. He holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne, Germany.
Stefan is deeply committed to advancing sustainability, high-performance technology, and energy efficiency. He actively serves on industry boards and works to accelerate the growth and adoption of next-generation technologies across the U.S.
